Ideas for Breakfast

All I need for breakfast is a bowl of Cheerios and some skim milk. But on weekends when I have a teensy bit more time and a clean kitchen, I like to mix up the most important meal of the day with omelets and fresh squeezed OJ.

But I’ve recently found a few other interesting recipes that I’ll just have to give a try, so see if any strike your fancy or feel free to share something you just can’t start your day without:

We all know breakfast is the most important meal, yet due to lack of time I frequently find myself skipping it.

Today I found a fun new QUICK breakfast idea; I can’t wait to try.

I might be making breakfast for dessert !

And since it is fall, I thought something involving pumpkin would be perfect.

You are going to need:
1 6 oz plain low-fat yogurt

2 teaspoons honey

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 whole-grain crunchy granola bar, crumbled

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

Mix together your yogurt, cinnamon, and honey. I plan on mixing it right in the yogurt container, less dishes to clean!

Then start layer granola, yogurt and the canned pumpkin. Personally, I love to leave all my granola for the top of my parfaits.
